Hope
He watched the flames glow blinding shades of red and yellow as they waveringly danced before his green eyes. He had nothing else to do. Underneath the vast, dark and brilliantly dotted-starry sky, he thought about how worried his mother and father would be. After seven long and lonely years, he was starting to lose hope. He had tried everything, but trying to be rescued from this tiny island was just another lost cause. The flames swirled in unique patterns all around the logs, as if demanding his complete attention. He glanced at the never-ending ocean, so blue, so full, so glorious, yet so deadly. The remains of his ship-wrecked rowboat were no longer to be seen. Strong waves lashed at the shore as tiny droplets started to fall from the sky. Quick. Throwing all the last bits of his loathed seaweed dinner into the cackling fire to incense it, he got up and shouted like he had never done before. Help! Help!! He cried out at the top of his lungs. From the foggy coast, a small and dim red light shone. He rubbed his eyes hoping that it was more than just a dream. It looked deathly and dark. Were humans arriving on this island? Were they also castaway just like him? Help!!! He cried out again. Would it be enough? Would they be able to hear him?

I am pretty sure he should be saved (doesnt have to be immediate) as the only other option is that he lives and dies on that island which is rather depressing given his hopefulness.

DeleteI think the people would find him and when he goes closer to them, he finds out that it is his mother and father. They take their lost son back home and live happily😅😄

DeleteJust to make it interesting, he's found by sailors, then he figures his way back home and finally realizes that the parents dont remember him/are dead. I'm pure evil. I know :)

DeleteWhatever it was started coming nearer to the island, the dim red light now glowing brighter and brighter. When the fog cleared, he gasped seeing a huge ship which looked so old but even then very strong approaching the island. And then he saw it, something which he thought will only happen in fantasies, he saw a pirate flag. He froze, his only instinct was to hide.The ship finally reached ashore and odd looking people wearing eye patch, hook, dangerously looking swords walked deep into the island. He was thankful that they did not see him. He went inside the ship after he made sure no one was still in there and found a small boat which was ready to use. Without thinking he grabbed a sac filled it with loads of food , stuffed it in the boat and then pushed the boat out of the ship into the sea. He decided to set sail again, he didn't know where but he knew that he had found his lost hope again.
