You know we all take things for granted

But somehow that just doesn't feel right

Apologies when you're wrong and

Kill the hurt just by being kind 

The silence I can live with

But not the cruel words

Show some compassion 

You'll be amazed at what you learn

Kill them all with your kindness

You don't ever need to be afraid

It will bring new-found happiness

Rather than the hurt and the shame

You know this is not how you wanted it

An abyss falling on down, and down

Cure it with just a little kindness

A smile appears from that frown
